Cost: $2.7 million

Project Summary: The sludge lagoon is a holding area for sludge from the Pequannock Water Treatment Plant (PWTP). Currently, the PWTP has a new centrifuge system to process this sludge. This project is to empty out the sludge lagoon using methods such as dredging or excavation, and use the sludge lagoon for emergencies only.
