Newark Water & Sewer Gives Back at the 2024 University Hospital Toy Drive

The Department donated just over 100 toys to outpatients


December 18, 2024 — Newark Water & Sewer joined forces with the University Hospital Foundation, Newark Happening, and other organizations to donate toys to outpatient children. Water & Sewer alone donated just over 100 toys this year.

To give back to the local community, Water & Sewer representatives volunteered in distributing toys and serving meals to give Newark children a spark of joy during the holiday season.

Water & Sewer mascots Winnie & Sammie made an appearance to spread the holiday cheer!

“Our number one priority is our residents”, says Director Kareem Adeem. “We look at every opportunity to give back to the community as much as we can. I am thrilled that our Department contributed so generously to the toy drive this year”.
