New Jersey Shares Offers Utility Assistance Program for Eligible NJ Residents

One program called the Municipal Government Assistance Program (MCAP) offers financial assistance to income-qualified households who are in a temporary financial crisis and are in need of electric, sewer and/or water payment assistance.
