Please be advised that there is a 6-inch water main break at the intersection of Hunterdon Street nd Mapes Avenue in Newark’s South Ward.

Residents and businesses in the surrounding area may experience low water pressure, discolored water, or no water during the duration of the repairs.

Residents are also advised of possible traffic delays in the area.

Newark Water & Sewer crews are working diligently to repair the water main.
