As of 4:00 p.m. today, the emergency repair is complete and all water services on Highland Avenue have been restored.
Water may initially appear discolored or have low pressure. If this occurs, please allow your tap to run until the water runs clear.

Please be advised that emergency repairs will cause a temporary water turn off at Highland Avenue between Park Avenue and Bloomfield Avenue in Newark’s North Ward.
Residents and businesses in the surrounding area may experience low water pressure, discolored water, or no water during the duration of the repairs.
Newark Water & Sewer crews are working diligently to finish repairs as soon as possible to restore water services. Repairs are expected to be complete within the next few hours.
