Project Summary: Sludge lagoon is been used as a holding area for sludge from the treatment plant. The lagoon is been active, when the treatment plant was built. Now, we have a new Centrifuge system at the Pequannock Water Treatment Plant to process this sludge. This project is to empty out the sludge lagoon using dredging method or excavation and only use sludge lagoon only for emergencies.
